I am a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, working on symmetric-key cryptography. Before NTU, I was a Program-Specific Researcher at Kyoto University and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hyogo, Japan. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, with a thesis on cryptanalysis of symmetric-key schemes using classical and quantum techniques.
I design ciphers (low-latency, high-throughput and post-quantum), break them (yoyo, boomerang, differential, division-property and fault attacks, often with MILP/SAT tools), study them against quantum adversaries, and look at how they behave inside real-world protocols, such as key commitment in AEAD.
